Key stages of the project
The Transport for Leeds project will run for two years. There are four key stages to developing our proposals:

July 2008 - December 2008
Undertaking research and data collection with local people and stakeholders, to identify the scale and causes of congestion.
The results of city interviews and online questionnaires will help assess the extent and scale of congestion in Leeds.

January 2009 - June 2009
Identifying the measures that could help to reduce congestion and support economic growth in Leeds.

July 2009 - December 2009
Developing a business case for identified measures.

January 2010 - June 2010
Consultation and decision on whether to submit a bid to the DfT.
